FAQ

1. I mostly swim in a pool. Should I choose HoloSwim 3 or 3 Pro?

HoloSwim 3 gives you live swim data, custom training plans, and app analysis, along with a compass for checking your direction in open water. HoloSwim 3 Pro adds built-in GPS, route navigation, and water temperature and depth readings, making it a better fit for regular open water swimmers and triathletes who train in lakes or the sea. If most of your swimming happens in a pool, we recommend HoloSwim 3.
2. Can I put my coach’s workout on the goggles?

Yes. Create the workout in the HoloSport App, then sync it to your goggles before you swim. You can also choose a training plan in the app. During the session, your goggles show the target, progress, and swim data for each training stage.

3. How will I know where I am in my workout?

Your goggles display your progress and the target for the current training stage alongside your swim data. Between sets, you’ll see a rest countdown and details of the next set, so you can follow the session without remembering every instruction.
4. Do I need to keep my phone nearby while I swim?

No. Once you’ve synced your training plan to the goggles, you can leave your phone out of the water and start your session. Connect to the app afterwards to sync and review your results.
5. What will I actually see inside the goggles?

You can view distance, elapsed time, pace, lap count, stroke count, stroke rate, and SWOLF. When following a training plan, you’ll also see your current repeat, stroke, distance progress, and remaining time, followed by a rest countdown and details of the next set.

Choose which metrics appear and arrange your data screens in the HoloSport App, so the information you care about is easy to find. Heart rate is also available when paired with a HandPlus B2 monitor.
6. Can I see whether I’m getting better?

Yes. After swimming, sync your records to the HoloSport App to review your session data and AI analysis. Looking back at your sessions helps you see changes in your performance and identify areas to focus on next.
7. How long does the battery last?

HoloSwim 3 offers the following battery life on a full charge:

  • Indoor Swimming: Up to 20 hours
  • Outdoor Swimming with Compass: Up to 5 hours

Battery life may vary depending on usage settings and environmental conditions.
8. Is there a monthly subscription?

No subscription is required. You can use HoloSwim 3’s supported features in the HoloSport App without a monthly fee.
9. Can I switch the display between my left and right eye?

Yes. You can choose either eye for the display. In the HoloSport App, go to Device → Display Settings and select your preferred side. Then rotate the goggles so the display lens sits over your chosen eye.
10. Can I use HoloSwim 3 in open water?

Yes. Its built-in compass shows your heading inside the goggles, giving you a directional reference as you swim. If you also want built-in GPS and route navigation for open water, choose HoloSwim 3 Pro.
11. Can I see my heart rate while I swim?

Yes. Pair HoloSwim 3 with the HandPlus B2 heart rate monitor to see your heart rate directly inside the goggles while swimming. The monitor is sold separately.
